Free Crochet Pattern

MATERIALS:

4-ply yarn in Cherry Red, Black, Light Sage and Frosty Green, H hook or hook to obtain gauge, needle to take yarn and stuffing.

GAUGE: 4 hdc sts = 1”, 3 rows = 1-1\2”

FINISHED SIZE: about 4” across.

PETAL FOR PINCUSHION:

ROW 1: With Black and H hook ch-7, hdc 3rd ch from hook, hdc ea ch across, drop Black, join Red, ch-1, turn. (5 sts)

ROW 2: 2 hdc next st, drop Red, pick up Black, hdc next, 3 dc next, hdc next, pick up Red, fasten off Black, 2 hdc last st, ch-1, turn. (9 sts)

ROW 3: Sc next st, 2 hdc next, dc next, 2 trc next 3, dc next, 2 hdc next, sc last st, fasten off. (13 sts)

-make 6. Sew petals tog in sets of 2 ea, stuffing as you sew.

-make 4 petals in all Red and sew tog as you did for the previous petals. Carefully sew petals tog to make the flower.

PINCUSHION BOTTOM:

With Light Sage and H hook ch-3, sl st to form a ring.

RND 1: Ch-1, work 12 hdc in ring, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (12 sts)

RND 2: (2 hdc next st, hdc next st) around, sl st top beg hdc, fasten off. (18 sts)

-make 1 of bottom and 3 leaves in Light Sage and 3 leaves in Frosty Green. Sew the
