Patterns Written In US Terms
RND 4: Sl st next 22 sts [27 sts]{29 sts}, hdc next st, 2 dc next 4, hdc next 2 sts, sc next 3 sts, sl st remaining sts, sl st top beg sl st, fasten off.  (56 sts)[62 sts]{68 sts}
-Make 2 soles, turning one over so you have a left and a right sole.
STRAP:
ROW 1: With Print and J hook ch-7, hdc 3rd ch from hook, hdc ea ch across, ch-1, turn.  (5 sts)
ROW 2-21: Hdc ea st across, ch-1, turn.  End row 21 fasten off.
ROW 22: Count over ends of 7 rows along long edge of strap; join that row, (hdc next row, 2 hdc next row) 3 times, hdc next row, leave remaining ends of rows unworked, ch-1, turn.  (10 sts)
ROW 23-25: Hdc dec next 2 sts, hdc ea st to last 2 sts, hdc dec last 2 sts, ch-1, turn.  (8 sts)(6 sts)(4 sts)
ROW 26: Hdc dec next 2 sts, hdc next 2 sts, ch-1, turn.  (3 sts)
ROW 27: Hdc next st, hdc dec last 2 sts, ch-1, turn.  (2 sts)
ROW 28: Hdc dec next 2 sts, fasten off.  (1 st)
-Make 2.  The center pt on strap is designed to be off center so you will need to turn one strap over to have a right and left one.
EDGING:
With Cream and J hook join in 1 st on right side of strap, ch-1, evenly and loosely sl st in ea st and row around, fasten off.
Rep on other strap.
TOE DIVIDER:
ROW 1: With Print and J hook ch-3, hdc 3rd ch from hook, ch-1, turn. (1 st)
ROW 2-7: Hdc only st, ch-1, turn.  End row 7 fasten off.
-Make 2.
Fold divider in half and pull through the top of the finished strap you just made so that the short ends of the divider are to the wrong side of the strap and one st separates them.  Find the pt on ea sole bet your big toe and the other toes and mark with a bit of yarn.  Pull short ends of toe divider through the topside of sole to the back with one st bet.  Sew ends to wrong side of
