1960’s Retro Outfit for American Girl Size Doll Free Crochet pattern
MATERIALS: 4 ply yarn in Royal & White, H hook or hook to obtain gauge, 1 small snap, needle and sewing thread.
GAUGE: 4 hdc sts = 1”, 3 rows hdc = 1”
FINISHED SIZE: Will fit 18” American Girl doll or look alike doll.
DRESS-SKIRT:
ROW 1: With Royal and H hook ch-40, hdc 3 rd ch from hook, hdc next 19 ch, join white, hdc next 18 ch, ch-1, turn. (38 sts)
ROW 2: Hdc next 18 sts, drop white, pick up royal, hdc next 18 sts, leave remaining 2 sts unworked, ch-1, turn. (36 sts)
ROW 3: (2 hdc next st, hdc next 5 sts) 3 times, drop royal, pick up white, rep bet () 3 times, ch-1, turn. (42 sts)
