About the yarn I used:
I used Red Heart Super Saver (#4) yarn, but any #4 yarn will make a good substitution, just make sure you get the exact gauge as stated in the pattern when you make a sample swatch. If your gauge is bigger than stated, go down one size in your hook. If your sample gauge is smaller than stated, go up one size in your hook.
MATERIALS: Small amount of 4 ply yarn in Pumpkin and Hunter Green, small amount of size 10 crochet thread in Pumpkin and Myrtle Green, size H and 7 crochet hooks, needle to take yarn, needle to take crochet thread, small amount of brown felt, craft glue and stuffing.
FINISHED SIZE: Yarn Mr. Pumpkin Man is 9” tall not including hat. Thread Mr. Pumpkin man is 3-1\2” tall not including hat.Gauge: Yarn: 3 hdc sts = 1”, 2 rows hdc = 1”. Thread: 4 hdc sts = 1\2”, 3 rows hdc = 1\2”
