How To Layer and Crochet Around Pop Tabs
To layer pop tabs what you do is place one down then add another pop tab so that the top opening of the next pop tab lay directly over the bottom opening of the first pop tab. It is illustrated below, but you actually do it as you are crocheting around the pop tab.
