How To Make My Favorite Crochet Flower
Here is the flower done in worsted weight yarn (pink), sport (lime) and size 10 crochet thread.
The flower is really 2 separate pieces
Backing Flower:
With yarn and hook ch-4, sl st to form a ring.
Rnd 1: Ch-1, work 12 sc in ring, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. (12 sts)
Rnd 2: 2 sc ea st around, sl st top beg sc, do not turn. (24 sts)
Rnd 3: * Ch-4, 2 trc same st as ch-4, (2 trc, ch-4, sl st) next st, sl st next 2 sts * rep bet ** around, fasten off.
With yarn and hook ch-
Rnd 1: Ch-
Rnd 2: 2 sc ea st around, sl st top beg sc, do not turn. (24 sts)
Rnd 3: * Ch-
Rnd 1-2 completed
Rnd 3: ch-4, 2 trc same stitch
