Finish stuffing body.
RND 38: (Sk next st, sc next st) around, sl st top beg sc, fasten off. (4 sts)
TOP WING (MAKE 2):
RND 1: With Carnation yarn and H hook ch-12, sl st to from a ring, ch-1, sc in ea ch around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. (12 sts)
RND 2-39: Sc ea st around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. At the end of rnd 39 fasten off.
Stuff one wing. Bend the wing so its open ends touch tog, sew shut, and sew to the back upper part of body. Rep for other wing. Cut 8” long pieces of ribbon. Fold in half\double and knot at end. Evenly stick knots through sts along wing and securely sew in place.
BOTTOM WING (MAKE 2):
With Sweet Pea yarn and H hook rep rnds 1-33 of top wing. End rnd 33 fasten off.
Stuff and sew as you did for top wings only sewing them to the bottom back of body.
HAT:
With Soft Lime yam and h hook ch-4, sl st to form a ring.
RND 1: Ch-1, work 12 sc in ring, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. (12 sts)
RND 2: Work 2 sc in ea st around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. (24 sts)
RND 3-7: Sc ea st around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn.
RND 8: Rep rnd 2. (48 sts)
RND 9-11: Sc ea st around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. At the end of rnd 11 fasten off.
Tack front of brim to hat. Sew ribbon flowers to tacked portion of hat. Sew securely to body’s head. Embroider face.
