RND 62-70: Sc ea st around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn.
RND 71: (sc dec next 2 sts, sc next 5 sts) around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn.  (25 sts)
RND 72-80: Sc ea st around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn.
RND 81: (sc dec next 2 sts, sc next 4 sts) around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn.  (20 sts)

Stuff tail firmly.  Pin tail to back of body at the base of the neck (rnd 21), pin tail to back of body stuffing tail upper back as you go.  Sew.  (Please note:  In order to be able to get the dragon to stand properly, the back or bottom of the tail must be sewn correctly to the base of the dragon.  It helps to pre-pin this area, set upon a desk and adjust as needed.)
BACK POINTS (MAKE 22):
Row 1: With sage yarn and G Hook ch-7, sc 2nd ch from hook, sc ea ch across, ch-1, turn.  (6 sts)
ROW 2: Sc dec next 2 sts, sc ea st across, ch-1, turn.  (5 sts)
ROW 3-5: Rep row 2.  At the end of row 5 (2 sts)
ROW 6: Sc dec , fasten off.  (1 st)
Sew 2 points tog, leaving bottom open.  Stuff, sew bottom.  Sew points down the center of the dragon’s back beginning at the base of its head and going to the tip of its tail.
TUMMY:
ROW 1: With sage yarn and G hook ch-3, sc 2nd ch from hook, sc next ch, ch-1, turn.  (2 sts)
ROW 2: Working in back loops now, 2 sc next st, sc across ea st, ch-1, turn.  (3 sts)
ROW 3: Rep row 2.  (4 sts)
ROW 4-6: Sc ea st across, ch-1, turn.
ROW 7-11: Rep row 2.  At the end of row 11 (9 sts)
ROW 12: Sc ea st across, ch-1, turn.
ROW 13: Sc across to last st, 2 sc last st, ch-1, turn.  (10 sts)
ROW 14: Rep row 12.

ROW 16-47: Rep rows 12-15 alternating in sequence (8 times).  End row 47 (27 sts)
