Patterns Written In US Terms
SIDES:
ROW 1: With Sierra and K hook ch-10, hdc 3rd ch from hook, hdc ea ch across, ch-1, turn.  (8 sts)
ROW 2-23: Hdc ea st across, ch-1, turn.
ROW 24: Hdc ea st across, join Prairie, fasten off Sierra, ch-1, turn.
ROW 25-48: Hdc ea st across, ch-1, turn.
ROW 49: Hdc next 4 sts, leave remaining sts unworked, ch-1, turn.  (4 sts)
ROW 50-75: Hdc ea st across, ch-1, turn.  End row 75 fasten off.
ROW 76: With Sierra and K hook join in last st row 48, ch-1, hdc same st as beg ch-1, hdc next 3 sts, ch-1, turn.  (4 sts)
ROW 78-102: Hdc ea st across, ch-1, turn.  End row 102 fasten off.
With invisible thread sew end row 102 & 74 to row 1 to form a lp.  Sew Around both purse front and back making sure the split sections are at the top to form the opening for the purse.
HANDLES:
ROW 1: With Sierra and K hook ch-5, hdc 3rd ch from hook, hdc ea ch across, ch-1, turn.  (3 sts)
ROW 2-21: Hdc ea st across, ch-1, turn.
ROW 22: Hdc ea st across, join Prairie, fasten off Sierra.
ROW 23-44: Hdc ea st across, ch-1, turn.  End row 44 fasten off.
-make 2.  With needle and invisible thread sew long edges of ea handle tog leaving 3-4 row free at ea end.  Sew handles to sides of purse.
LEAF:
With Antique and K hook ch-9, sc 2nd ch from hook, sc next 2 ch, (dc, trc) next, (trc, dc) next, sc next 2, (dc, 2 trc, dc) last ch, turn piece so you are now working across the bottom of the foundation ch (in bottom of sts just made) sc next 2, (dc, trc) next, (trc, dc) next, sc last 3, fasten off.

ACORN:
ROW 1: With Yellow and K hook ch-2, work 3 sc in 2nd ch from hook, ch-1, turn.  (3 sts)
ROW 2: 2 sc 1st st, sc next st, 2 sc last st, join Brown, fasten off Yellow, ch-1, turn.  (5 sts)
ROW 3: Sc 1st st, hdc next, 2 dc next, hdc next, sc last st, fasten off. (6 sts)
-make 2. Sew leaves and acorns to purse.
