MATERIALS: 4ply yarn in Black and Pumpkin, H hook or hook to obtain gauge and needle to take yarn.
GAUGE: 6 hdc = 1-1\2”, 5 rows hdc = 1-1\2”
FINISHED SIZE: 8” wide and 6” tall.
Pleas note: Work Black yarn behind sts as you work Orange, but drop and pick up Orange as stated.
PURSE:
RND 1: With Black and H hook ch-20, hdc 3 rd ch from hook, hdc next 16 ch, 3 hdc last ch, turn piece so you are now working across the bottom of the foundation ch (in bottom of sts just made), hdc next 15, 2 hdc last, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (38 sts)
RND 2: 2 hdc next 2 sts, hdc next 15, 2 hdc next 4, hdc next 16, 2 hdc last 2, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (46 sts)
RND 3: 2 hdc next 3 sts, hdc next 17, 2 hdc next 6, hdc next 17, 2 hdc last 3, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (58 sts)
