Pop Tab Lady Bugs Free Crochet Pattern

MATERIALS:
Size 10 crochet thread in Red and Black (0012), size 7 crochet hook, stuffing (craft fiberfill), needle to take thread, craft glue, and 2 pop tabs for ea ladybug.
Finished Size: 1-3\4” long
WING:
You will need 1 pop tab for ea wing.
With Red thread and 7 hook join in bottom opening on pop tab, ch-1, work 10 sc in same opening, turn piece, work 12 sc in 2 nd opening, turn, 2 sc in 1st opening worked, sl st top beg sc, fasten off.
-Make 2.
BODY:
RND 1: With Black and 7 hook ch-7, hdc 3 rd ch from hook, hdc next 3 ch, 3 hdc last ch, turn piece so you are now working across the bottom of the foundation ch (in bottom of sts just made) hdc next 3, 2 hdc last, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (12 sts)
RND 2: 2 hdc next 2 sts, hdc next 3, 2 hdc next 3, hdc next 3, 2 hdc last st, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (18 sts)
RND 3: 2 hdc next 2 sts, hdc next 3, 2 hdc next 6, hdc next 3, 2 hdc last 4 sts, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (30 sts)
RND 4: 2 hdc next 5 sts, hdc next 9, 2 hdc next 6, hdc next 9, 2 hdc last st, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (42 sts)
RND 5-6: Hdc ea st around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. End rnd 6 fasten off.
BOTTOM FOR BODY:
With Black thread and 7 hook rep rnd 1-4 of body, fasten off end rnd 4.
Stuff body and sew on bottom. Glue two wings to the ladybug’s back.
