Snowman Kids Free Crochet Pattern

MATERIALS:
Size 10 crochet thread in White, Red and Black, 2 skeins Lion Fun Fur yarn in Sapphire, small amount of 4 ply white yarn, size H & E & 7 crochet hooks or hooks needed to obtain gauge, needle to take crochet thread, two 18” chenille stems (for ea doll), one 1\2” wooden doll head (for ea doll), needle to take crochet thread, 12” Styrofoam wreath, U shaped florist pins, 2” wide ribbon (garland), crystal gems, and craft glue.
FINISHED SIZE: Snowman Kids: 3-1\2” tall.
Gauge: 8 hdc sts = 1”, 6 rows hdc = 1”, Large snowflake: 4”, Small snowflake: 2”.
LEGS:
With White thread and 7 hook ch-3, sl st to form a ring.
RND 1: Ch-1, work 8 hdc in ring, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (8 sts)
RND 2-12: Hdc ea st around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. End rnd 12 fasten off.
Make 2 for ea doll.
ARMS:
With White thread and 7 hook rep rnd 1-9 of legs. Fasten off end rnd 9. Make 2 for ea doll.
SNOWMAN OUTFIT:
With White thread and 7 hook ch-5, sl st to form a ring.
RND 1: Ch-1, work 12 hdc in ring, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (12 sts)
RND 2: 2 hdc ea st around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (24 sts)
RND 3: (2 hdc next st, hdc next st) around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (36 sts)
RND 4: Hdc next 7 sts, ch-4, sk next 4 sts, hdc next 14, ch-4, sk next 4, hdc last 7 sts, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.
RND 5: Hdc ea st and ch around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.
RND 6-9: Hdc ea st around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.
RND 10: (2 hdc next st, hdc next 8 sts) around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.
