MATERIALS:
8[9]{10}/11/ oz Sugar ‘N Cream worsted weight cotton yarn in White (00001), Size L & E crochet hooks or hook to obtain gauge, 350[500]{650}/800/ yds size 10 crochet thread (Aunt Lydia’s) in Bridal Blue (479), two 6” diameter brass rings, needle to take yarn and crochet thread.
GAUGE: Sugar ‘N Cream: 2 sts = 1”, 4 rows = 1-1\2” Crochet thread: 3 (Dc + ch-1) sps = 1”, 3 rows of pattern = 1”
SIZES: As written: Medium, [Large]{Extra Large}/Double Extra Large/
TOP:
RND 1: With White and L hook ch-100[104]{112}/116/, sl st to form a ring, ch-1, (sc next ch, dc next ch) around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. (100 sts)[104 sts]{112 sts}/116 sts/
RND 2-44[46]{48}/53/: (Sc next dc, dc next st) around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn.
RND 45[47]{49}/54/: Working in Bk Lps (Sc next dc, dc next sc) around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn.
RND 46[48]{50}/55/: Working in Front Lps (Sc next dc, dc next sc) around, sl st top beg sc, fasten off.
TOP TRIM:
ROW 1: With Blue thread and E hook join in left over lp from rnd 45[47]{49}/54/, ch-1, sc same st as beg ch-1, (5 trc next left over lp, sc next left over lp) around, do not join, fasten off.
TOP BACK:
