Tiny Witch In A Pumpkin

MATERIALS:
Size 10 crochet thread in Pumpkin, Black and Myrtle Green, needle to take threat, One 1” wooden doll head, 6 chenille stems, small amount of yellow felt, craft glue, small amount of stuffing, Black fabric paint and size 7 crochet hook or hook to obtain gauge.
FINISHED SIZE: 7” tall total decoration, Witch is 4” tall with hat, both pumpkins are 2” tall.   
 Gauge:  9 hdc sts = 1”, 7 rows hdc = 1”
PUMPKIN:
With Pumpkin and 7 hook ch-3, sl st to form a ring.
RND 1: Ch-1, work 8 hdc in ring, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.  (8 sts)
RND 2-4: (2 hdc next st, hdc next st) around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.  (12 sts)(18 sts)(27 sts)
RND 5: (2 hdc next st, hdc next 2 sts) around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.  (36 sts)
RND 6: (2 hdc next st, hdc next 3 sts) around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.  (45 sts)
RND 7: (2 hdc next st, hdc next 4 sts) around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.  (54 sts)
RND 8: (2 hdc next st, hdc next 5 sts) around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.  (63 sts)
RND 9-18: Hdc ea st around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.
RND 19: (Hdc dec next 2 sts, hdc next 5 sts) around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.  (54 sts)
RND 20: (Hdc dec next 2 sts, hdc next 4 sts) around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.  (45 sts)
RND 21: (Hdc dec next 2 sts, hdc next 3 sts) around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.
RND 22: (Hdc dec next 2 sts, hdc next 2 sts) around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.  (27 sts) Stuff Pumpkin.
RND 23-25: (Hdc dec next 2 sts, hdc next st) around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.  End rnd 25 fasten off.  (18 sts)(12 sts)(8 sts)
With needle and crochet thread section off the pumpkin into 5 sections.
STEM:
ROW 1: With Green and 7 hook ch-7, sc 2nd ch from hook, sc ea ch across, ch-1, turn.  (6 sts)
ROW 2-18: Bk Lp sc ea st across, ch-1, turn.  End row 18 fasten off.
Beginning at one short end, roll stem into a log.  Sew or glue to the center of the pumpkin.
