MATERIALSSize 10 crochet thread in Blue, Bernat Boa yarn in White, size 7 and H crochet hooks, 1 small snap, needle to take crochet thread, needle and sewing thread.
GAUGE: 4 hdc = 1\2”, 4 rows hdc = 1\2”
FINISHED SIZE: Will fit 4-1\2” plastic Baby Bratz Doll
WINTER HAT:
With Blue and 7 hook ch-3, sl st to form a ring.
RND 1: Ch-1, work 8 hdc in ring, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (8 sts)
RND 2-4: (2 hdc next st, hdc next st) around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (12 sts)(18 sts)(27 sts)
RND 5-6: (2 hdc next st, hdc next 2 sts) around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (36 sts)(48 sts)
RND 7: Hdc ea st around sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.
RND 8: (2 hdc next st, hdc next 3 sts) around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (60 sts)
ROW 9: Hdc next 48 sts, leave remaining sts unworked, ch-1, turn. (48 sts)
ROW 10-16: Hdc ea st across, ch-1, turn. End row 16 fasten off.
HAT TRIM:
ROW 1: With Boa and H hook ch-3, hdc 3 rd ch from hook, ch-1, turn. (1 st)
ROW 2: hdc only st, ch-1, turn.
Rep row 2 until piece will fit across edge of hat. Sew in place.
HAT TIE ENDS:
With Boa and H hook ch-3, sl st to form a ring.
RND 1: Ch-1, work 8 hdc in ring, sl st top beg hdc, fasten off. (8 sts)
-make 2.
With Blue thread and 7 hook join in one row inside edge of hat, ch-10, fasten off. Sew tie end to free end. Rep other side of hat.
WINTER COAT:
ROW 1: With Blue and 7 hook ch-38, hdc 3 rd ch from hook hdc ea ch across, ch-1, turn. (36 sts)
ROW 2-9: Hdc ea st across, ch-1, turn.
