MATERIALS: 3 skeins Micro Spun yarns in Ebony, 1 skein Micro Spun yarn in the following colors: Lily White, Cherry Red and Buttercup, size H crochet hook or hook to obtain gauge, needle to take yarn, 1 medium size snap, needle and sewing thread.
GAUGE: 7 hdc = 1-1\2”, 5 rows hdc = 1-1\2”
FINISHED SIZE: 13-1\2” wide X 10” tall X 3-1\2” deep.
PURSE 15” X 33-1\2”:
ROW 1: With Ebony yarn and H hook ch-142, hdc 3 rd ch from hook, hdc ea ch across, ch-1, turn. (140 sts)
ROW 2: Hdc ea st across, ch-1, turn.
ROW 3: Hdc ea st across, join White, fasten off Ebony, ch-1, turn.
ROW 4: Sc ea st across, join Ebony, fasten off White, ch-1, turn.
ROW 5-7: Hdc next 29 sts, (Join Red next st, carry Ebony behind sts as you work, ch-1, hdc same st as ch-1, hdc next 7 sts, pick up Ebony, fasten off Red, hdc next 29 sts) 3 times, ch-1, turn. End row 7 join White, fasten off Ebony, ch-1, turn.
ROW 8: Rep row 4.
ROW 9-10: Rep row 2.
ROW 11: Rep row 3.
ROW 12: Rep row 4.
ROW 13: Hdc next 8 sts, (join Buttercup next st, carry Ebony behind sts at you work, ch-1, hdc same st as ch-1, hdc next 11 sts, pick up Ebony, fasten off Buttercup, hdc next 32 sts) 3 times, ch-1, turn.
ROW 14: (Hdc next 32 sts, join Buttercup next st, carry Ebony behind sts at you work, ch-1, hdc same st as ch-1, hdc next 11 sts, pick up Ebony, fasten off Buttercup) 3 times, hdc last 8 sts, ch-1, turn.
ROW 15: Rep row 13.
ROW 16: Rep row 4.
ROW 17: Rep row 2.
ROW 18-49: Rep row 2-17.
ROW 50-51: Rep row 2. End row 51 join White, fasten off Ebony.
