Stuff ea leg placing squeaker or music button in bottom of leg first. For the rattles, place something inside the tic tac or other box to make a noise. Wrap this with batting, then place into the leg and finish stuffing.
Sew top of ea leg closed. Sew the leg tog in pairs of two. Take these pairs and gather at the top sewing all four sets of two legs ea tog. Fold legs in half and sew aging to secure. Carefully sew the head over the legs.
EYES (MAKE TWO):
ROW 1: With black 4 ply yarn and K hook ch-5, sc 2nd ch from hook, sc next 2 ch, 2 sc next ch, turn piece so you are now working across the bottom of the foundation ch, sc across, join white, ch-1, turn, fasten off black. (8 sts)
ROW 2: Sc next 3 sts, 2 sc next 2, sc next 3, ch-1, turn. (10 sts)
ROW 3: Sl st next 3 sts, 2 sc next 4, sl st last 3, fasten off. (8 sts + 6 sl sts)
Sew eyes to head. With two strands of black yarn embroider a mouth on head. Unstring, then re-string baby teething bead on yarn. Fit around neck and knot closed. Go back with needle and yarn and tack ea bead in place.
