Ribbon Tassel Doll
Free Crochet Pattern

MATERIALS: Small amounts of baby wt yarns in Pink, Pastel Green, Pastel Blue and Lavender, size E hook or hook to obtain gauge, 41 mm porcelain doll head and hands, 1\8” wide ribbon in Pink, Pastel Green, Pastel Blue and Lavender, craft glue, small amount of cardboard and 12 small 1\4” roses in pastel colors.
Gauge:  6 sc = 1", 6 rows = 1".
BODICE:
RND 1: With Pastel Green yarn and E hook ch-18, sl st to form a ring, ch-1, sc in ea ch around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn.  (18 sts)
RND 2-5: Sc ea st around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn.
RND 6: Sc next 5 sts, sk next st, sc next 6 sts, sk next st, sc last 5 sts, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn.  (16 sts)
RND 7: (Sc next 5 sts, sk next st) twice, sc last 4 sts, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn.  (14 sts)
RND 8-9: Sc ea st around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn.  At the end of rnd 9 fasten off.
Glue bodice around the shoulders of the porcelain doll’s head.
ARMS (MAKE TWO):
With Pastel Green yarn and E hook ch-4, sl st to form a ring.
RND 1: Ch-1, work 12 sc in ring, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn.  (12 sts)
RND 2-8: Sc ea st around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn.
RND 9: (Sc next st, sk next st) around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn.  (6 sts)
RND 10: (Ch-3, sl st next st) around, fasten off.
Slide hands into bottom of ea sleeve (rnd 10).  Fold top of sleeves flat and glue to ea side of doll at shoulders.
SKIRT PETAL:
ROW 1: With yarn and E hook ch-3, sc 2nd ch from hook, sc next ch, ch-1, turn.  (2 sts)
ROW 2-10: Sc ea st across, ch-1, turn.
ROW 11: 2 sc next st, sc next st, ch-1, turn.  (3 sts)
ROW 12: 2 sc next st, sc next 2 sts, ch-1, turn.  (4 sts)
ROW 13: (Sk next st, sc next sc) twice, ch-1, turn.  (2 sts)
ROW 14: Sk next st, sc next st, ch-1, turn.  (1 st)
