ROW 8-13: Rep row 4.
ROW 14-13: Hdc dec next 2 sts, hdc ea st across to last 2 sts, hdc dec last 2 sts, ch-1, turn.  End row 14 fasten off.  (7 sts)(5 sts)
SIDE SNOWMEN:
With White and H hook rep 1-6 of center snowman.
ROW 7-11: Hdc ea st across, ch-1, turn.
ROW 12-13: Hdc dec next 2 sts, hdc ea st across to last 2 sts, hdc dec last 2 sts, ch-1, turn.  End row 13 fasten off.  (5 sts)(3 sts)
-Make 2
SCARF:
ROW 1: With yarn and H hook ch-3, hdc 3rd ch from hook, ch-1, turn.  (1 st)
ROW 2-4: Hdc only st, ch-1, turn.  End row 4 fasten off.
-Make 2 in Light Periwinkle, 2 in Cherry Red and 2 in Spring Green.
EAR MUFF:
With yarn and H hook ch-2, work 4 hdc in 2 ch ch from hook, sl st top beg hdc, fasten off.
-Make 2 in Cherry Red and 2 in Light Periwinkle.
HAT:
With Spring Green and H hook ch-7, sc 2nd ch from hook, hdc next, 2 dc next 2, hdc next, sc last ch, fasten off.  (8 sts)
PUTTING THE GIFT BAG TOGETHER:
Sew Spring Green hat and scarf to center snowman.  Sew earmuffs and scarves to ea side snowman.  To add fringe to their scarves: cut 3 strands same color yarn at 4” long.  Fold in half, with hook pull lp through last st end scarf, insert cut ends and pull tight.
Sew the 3 snowmen to the front of the gift bag.  With fabric paint draw in eyes, buttons, noses, cheeks and mouths.  Go back to the center snowman and add a dot and brim to its hat.  Let fabric paint dry completely before sewing side/bottom to front and back and handles to top inside edge of bag.
