MATERIALS: 1 skein Lion Micro Spun yarn in Lily White, 6 mm gray pearl beads, large eye beading needle, size H hook or hook to obtain gauge, needle and thread.
GAUGE: 4 hdc sts = 1”, 3 rows = 1”
FINISHED SIZE: 7-1\4” sq
PURSE FRONT-BACK:
With large eye beading needle thread 120 beads onto Micro Spun Yarn, remove beading needle.
ROW 1: With Micro Spun yarn and H hook ch-32, hdc 3 rd ch from hook, hdc ea ch across, ch-1, turn. (30 sts)
ROW 2: * Hdc next 10 sts, (slide bead, ch-1) 10 times, sl st 1 st ch of ch-10, * rep bet ** twice, hdc last 10 sts, ch-1, turn.
ROW 3: Press lps to front of work, hdc ea st across, ch-1, turn.
ROW 4-5: Hdc ea st across, ch-1, turn.
ROW 6-24: Rep row 2-5.
ROW 25: Beg at the bottom and insert beaded lp into next beaded lp all the way to the top. Rep on other row of beads. * hdc next 10 sts, sl st in center of beaded lp, * rep bet ** twice, hdc last 10 sts, fasten off.

SIDES & STRAP:
With large eye beading needle thread 120 beads onto Micro Spun Yarn, remove beading needle.
ROW 1: With Micro Spun yarn and H hook ch-6, hdc 3 rd ch from hook, hdc ea ch across, ch-1, turn. (4 sts)
ROW 2: * Hdc next 2 sts, (slide bead, ch-1) 10 times, sl st 1 st ch of ch-10, hdc last 4 sts, ch-1, turn.
ROW 3: Press lps to front of work, hdc ea st across, ch-1, turn.
ROW 4-5: Hdc ea st across, ch-1, turn.
ROW 6-157: Rep row 2-5.
ROW 158: Beg at the bottom and insert beaded lp into next beaded lp all the way to the top, hdc next 2 sts, sl st in center of beaded lp, hdc last 2 sts, fasten off.
With needle and thread sew short ends of side-strap to form one large lp. Sew this lp around side, bottom and side of purse front leaving remaining lp as the strap. Sew the back to the side-strap as well.
