Child’s Easter Egg Purse Free Crochet Pattern
MATERIALS:
4py yarn in Pale yellow, Light Blue and Baby Pink, Size H hook or hook to obtain gauge, needle to take yarn, snap, needle and thread, 36” of 1\4” wide ribbon in pale yellow, light blue and baby pink.
Gauge: 4 sts = 1”, 3 rows st pattern = 1”

PURSE:
ROW 1: With Yellow and H hook ch-9, sc 2nd ch from hook, (dc next ch, sc next ch) across to last ch, dc last ch, ch-1, turn.  (8 sts)
ROW 2: (Sc, dc) next 2 sts, (sc next st, dc next st) rep bet () to last 2 sts, (sc, dc) last 2 sts, ch-1, turn.  (12 sts)
ROW 3: (Sc next st, dc next st) across, ch-1, turn.
ROW 4: Rep row 2.  (16 sts)
ROW 5: Rep row 3.
ROW 6: Rep row 2.  (20 sts)
ROW 7: Rep row 3.
ROW 8: Rep row 2.  (24 sts)
ROW 9: Rep row 3.
ROW 10: Rep row 2.  At the end of this row join pink and fasten off yellow.  (28 sts)
ROW 11-13: Rep row 3.  At the end of row 13 join light blue and fasten off pink.
ROW 14: Rep row 3.
ROW 15: Sc next st, dc dec next 2 sts, sk next st, (sc next st, dc next st) rep bet () to last 4 sts, sc next st, sk next st, dc dec last 2 sts, ch-1, turn.  (24 sts)
ROW 16: Rep row 3.  At the end of this row join pink and fasten off blue.
ROW 17: Rep row 15.  (20 sts)
ROW 18-19: Rep row 3.  At the end of row 19 join yellow and fasten off pink.
ROW 20-21: Rep row 3.
ROW 22: Rep row 15.  (16 sts)
ROW 23: Rep row 3.
ROW 24: Rep row 15.  (12 sts)
ROW 25: Rep row 3.
ROW 26: Rep row 15.  (8 sts)
ROW 27: Rep row 3.  At the end of row 27 fasten off. -Make 2 eggs.
With needle and matching yarn sew the 2 eggs tog from the top of the strip and around bottom of egg, stopping at the top of the strip on its other side.  With matching thread and needle sew snap to center of the purse on the inside. Knot tog the three 36” pieces of ribbon.  Braid the ribbon all the way to the end and knot to hold.  With thread sew ea end of the strap to the inside of the egg purse.
