Patterns Written in US Terms
MATERIALS:
Size 5 crochet thread in Pink, size 7 crochet hook, 224 size E seed beads in a purple mix of colors, large eye beading needle, Wire choker and needle to take crochet thread.
GAUGE: Circle: 1\2” diameter.  Rectangle:  1\2” X 1-3\4”
BEADED CIRCLE:
With Pink thread and large eye beading needle thread on 26 beads, remove beading needle.
With Pink and 7 hook ch-3, sl st to form a ring.
RND 1: Ch-1, (Slide bead, sc in ring) 8 times, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn.  (8 sts)
RND 2: (2 sc next st, sc next st) around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn.  (12 sts)
RND 3: * (Slide bead sc) same st twice, rep bet () next st, * rep bet ** around, sl st top beg sc, fasten off.  (18 beads)
-make 4.
CIRCLE BACKING:
With Pink and 7 hook ch-3, sl st top from a ring.
RND 1: Ch-1, work 8 sc in ring, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn.  (8 sts)
RND 2: (2 sc next st, sc next st) around, sl st top beg sc, fasten off.
With needle and Pink crochet thread sew backing to bead circle leaving space to insert wire of choker through.
RECTANGLE:
With Pink crochet thread and large eye beading needle thread on 40 seed beads, remove beading needle.
ROW 1: With Pink and 7 hook ch-6, sc 2nd ch from hook, sc ea ch across, ch-1, turn.  (5 sts)
ROW 2: (Slide bead, sc next st) across, ch-1, turn.
ROW 3: Sc ea st across, ch-1, turn.
ROW 4-16: Rep row 2-3.
ROW 17-19: Rep row 3.  End row 19 fasten off.
With needle and crochet thread sew row 17-19 to back of piece to form a lp for the wire of the choker to go through.
-Make 3.
FINISHING:
Slide circle, rectangle, circle, rectangle, circle, rectangle, circle onto wire choker.
You can change the look up by mixing with plain (non-beaded) circles and rectangles or go all plain.  Just rep as you did for the beaded ones only leave out the slide bead as you work.
