Patterns Written in US Terms

MATERIALS:
Size 5 DMC Pearl Cotton in a light color (A) and a dark color (B) of your choice, size O (zero) crochet hook and no-sew glue or needle and thread.
SIZE:  1-3\4” across.

FLOWER:
With Color A and O hook ch-3, sl st to form a ring.
RND 1: Ch-1, work 10 hdc in ring, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.  (10 sts)
RND 2: 2 hdc ea st around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.  (20 sts)
RND 3: (Hdc dec next 2 sts) around, join color B, fasten off A, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.  (10 sts)
RND 4: (Sc next st, ch-4, sk a st) around ending with ch-4, sl st top beg sc, do not turn.  (5 lps)
RND 5: (Sc, hdc, 2 dc, 3 trc, 2 dc, hdc, sc) in ea lp around, sl st top beg sc, fasten off.
