  To make the wallet close with a zipper instead of snaps, simply take the front and back of the wallet and lay it on either side of the zipper.  Sew in place with needle and thread or with a sewing machine, which I recommend.  Tuck the remaining end of the zipper to the inside of the wallet as you sew on the sides.

ROW 8-19: Rep row 2-7 twice.
ROW 20-22: Hdc ea st across, ch-1, turn.  End row 22 fasten off.

SIDES\HANDLE:
ROW 1: With Black and 7 hook ch-5, hdc 3rd ch from hook, hdc ea ch across, ch-1, turn.  (3 sts)
ROW 2: Hdc ea st across, ch-1, turn.
Rep row 2 until sides will go around outer edges of wallet and around your wrist plus 1”, fasten off.
With thread and needle sew around front and back of wallet sewing a snap at the ends. The zipper will be too long for the wallet so you will need to tuck inside the remaining zipper as you sew on the sides.
