Large Pieces Interlocking Belt Free Crochet Pattern

MATERIALS:
1 skein Lion Micro Spun yarn in Lily White, H hook or hook to obtain gauge, 1” clench buckle and needle to take yarn.
GAUGE: Single sections is 3-1\2” long and 2” wide.

SECTION:
RND 1: With yarn and H hook ch-17, sl st to form a ring, ch-1, sc next 4 ch, (hdc, dc) next, 2 dc next, dc next, hdc next, sc next 4, (hdc, dc) next, 2 dc next, dc next, hdc last ch, sl st, ch-1, do not turn.  (20 sts)
ROW 2: Sc next 5 sts, leave remaining sts unworked, ch-1, turn.  (5 sts)
ROW 3-6: Sc ea st across, ch-1, turn.
RND 7: Ch-10, sl st to side of 1st st row 6, ch-1, (hdc, dc) next ch, 2 dc next, (dc, hdc) next, sc next 4, (hdc, dc) next, 2 dc next, (dc, hdc) last ch, sl st in side of last st row 6, fasten off.  (16 sts) -Make 40.

PUTTING IT TOGETHER:
Fold one section in half with wrong sides tog.  Pull another section through the opening in folded section.  Fold this section in half.  Rep pulling and folding until one sections are left.  With yarn and needle sew ends of clench buckle to ends of belt. You can vary the look of the belt by alternating one white section with a different color (my sample I used Buttercup Micro Spun yarn) or you can work rnd 1 and rnd 7 in white and the remaining rows in buttercup.
