MATERIALS:
Size 10 crochet thread in Maze, size E brown /yellow mix glass beads (about 300), size 7 crochet hook or hook to obtain gauge and large eye beading needle.
GAUGE: 4 sc sts = 1\2”, 9 rows sc = 1”, ea beaded round 3\4” across
FINISHED SIZE: 22” long

BEADED ROUND:
With large eye beading needle thread 20 beads onto Maize crochet thread, remove beading needle, with 7 hook ch-4, sl st to form a ring.
RND 1: Ch-1, work (slide bead, sc) 8 times in ring, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn.  (8 sts)
RND 2-4: (2 sc next st, sc next st) around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn.  End rnd 4 fasten off. (12 sts)(18 sts)(27 sts)  -make 10

PUTTING NECKLACE TOGETHER:
With large eye beading needle thread remaining beads onto Maze thread, remove beading needle.  With 7 hook and beaded crochet thread join in end 1 finished crochet round, ch-1, * (slide bead, ch-1) 3 times, sl st edge next crochet round, ch-3, sl st other side same round across from 1st sl st, * rep bet ** until all 10 rounds are connected tog in a long strand, (slide bead, ch-1) 78 times, sl st edge 1st round connected to form a lp (the necklace), (slide bead, ch-1) 78 times, sl st in same round that began with to finish off the necklace.
