PUTTING THE PUMPKIN TOGETHER:
With needle and crochet thread sew inner pumpkin together at long sides to form a tube.  Sew this tube to bottom at rnd 5 where you worked bk lp hdc.  Sew the sides of outer pumpkin tog to form a tube as well.  Sew it to the outer edge of the bottom, you will need to ease some sts to fit.  Stuff the pumpkin bet inner and outer sides being careful not to over stuff so on hole remains for the doll.  Sew the top edge of outer pumpkin and inner pumpkin again easing to fit.  Set the doll inside the pumpkin’s center with her ruffle around the top of the pumpkin to look like the stem.
