Pop Tab Choker Free Crochet Pattern
MATERIALS NEEDED:
60 pop tabs, size 10 crochet thread in Maize and Black, size 7 crochet hook, needle to take crochet thread and necklace clasp.
FINISHED SIDE: 18” long.
CROCHETING AROUND LAYERED POP TABS:
Lay out 3 pop tabs, smooth side up.  You will be layering them so the bottom (large opening on tab that actually pushes open a can of pop) is always to the back.
Pick up one pop tab, with black and 7 hook join around bottom opening (this will be the only tab you will work the bottom opening), ch-1, work 3 sc on side, (over lap next pop tab so that the bottom of the next tab is under the top of this pop tab, sc tog pop tab openings, work 2 more sc around both) rep bet () until all 3 pop tabs are crochet together, work 12 sc around pop tab end, work 3 sc across ea side of ea tab to the bottom end, work 15 sc around side and top of bottom, sl st top beg sc, fasten off.
-Make 12.
Rep with Maize using 2 pop tabs.  –Make 12 of these also.
Sew pop tabs in like pairs at sides.  On a flat surface, lay out the pattern and sew tog.  Sew clasp to ea end.
