MATERIALS:
4py yarn in White, Baby Pink, Lavender, Pale Yellow and Light Blue, Size H hook or hook to obtain gauge, two 7” diameter wood embroidery hoops, plastic sandwich size back, small amount of Polly-pellets, stuffing, needle to take yarn, small amount of pink, black and white felt, sm amount of 5\8” wide pink ribbon, one 1\4” pink pom-pom and two 1\2 white pom-poms.
Gauge: 4 sc = 1”, 4 rows sc = 1”, 4 sts in st pattern = 1”, Bunny is about 9-3\4” tall without base.
RING:
RND 1: With yarn and H hook ch-6, sl st to form a ring, ch-1, sc in ea ch around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. (6 sts)
RND 2: Sc ea st around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn.
Rep rnd 2 until piece fits around cut embroidery hoop.
To prepare embroidery hoops: remove screw on both outer embroidery hoops. Snip off protruding metal and wrap ends with tape. With a craft knife, cut through the remaining solid hoops so they open like the others.
Insert one end of the hoop into the ring’s covering you just made. Slide covering over entire hoop. With needle and yarn, sew closed.
-Make one hoop in ea color except for white.
BUNNY:
With white and H hook ch-4, sl st to form a ring.
RND 1: Ch-1, work 8 sc in rings, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. (8 sts)
