Patterns Written in US Terms

MATERIALS:
Red Heart brand Luster Sheen yarn in white, Lion Micro Spun yarn in lily white and H & F hooks or hooks to obtain gauge, needle and thread, 51 size 6mm pearl beads, 9-1” long tear drop pearl beads, 39” of 1-1\2” wide ribbon in color of you choice, 7 yards and 3” of 6” wide white tulle and a rubber band.
GAUGE: Rose is 3” across—1 skein of micro spun yarn can make 10 roses  FINISHED SIZE: 36” long

ROSE:
RND 1: With Micro Spun yarn and H hook, leaving a long tail, ch-2, work 10 hdc in 2nd ch, pull tight, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.  (10 sts)
RND 2: Sc ea st around, sl st top beg sc, turn.
RND 3: Ch-3, sk next st, (sl st next st, ch-2, sk next st) around ending with sl st bottom of beg ch-3, do not turn.  (5 lps)
RND 4: (sl st next lp, ch-2, 5 hdc, ch-4, sl st same lp) around, do not turn.  (25 sts)
RND 5: Ch-1, (working behind petal made in rnd 4 sl st sk sc of rnd 2, ch-4) around, sl st top beg ch-1, do not turn.  (5 lps)
RND 6: (sl st next lp, ch-2, 8 dc, ch-2, sl st same lp) around, do not turn.  (40 sts)
RND 7: Ch-2, (working behind petals just made rnd 6, sl st bet 4th & 5th dc, ch-5) around ending with sl st top beg ch-2, do not turn.  (5 lps)
RND 8: (Sl st next lp, ch-2, 10 dc, ch-2, sl st same lp) around, fasten off.  -Make three

LACE OUTER RING:
RND 1: With Luster Sheen and F hook ch-12, sl st to form a ring, ch-1, work 12 sc in ring, ch-12.
RND 2: Turn piece, count bk 4 sc from base of ch-12, sl st that st, ch-1, work 4 sc in lp just made, ch-7.
RND 3: Turn piece, sl st in 3rd sc on rnd 1, ch-1, turn piece, work 5 sc in ch-7 lp, (ch-3, sl st beg ch of ch-3) 3
