MATERIALS:
Size 5 DMC Pearl Cotton Thread in the following colors: Green (Gr), Red, Gold and White (Wh), you also need a size O (zero) crochet hook.
FINISHED SIZES: Single: 1-1\4” square, Three: 2” X 2-1\4”, Row: 1-1\4” X 2-1\2”.
Throughout the instructions you are to carry the unused DMC thread behind sts as you work picking up and dropping the colors as indicated but not stated.
SINGLE:
ROW 1: With Wh and O hook ch-10, sc 2 nd ch from hook, sc ea ch across, ch-1, turn. (9 sts)
ROW 2: Wh sc next 3 sts, join Gr, sc next 3 sts, Wh sc last 3 sts, ch-1, turn.
ROW 3: Wh sc next 2 sts, Gr sc next 2, join Red, sc next st, Gr sc next 2, Wh sc last 2 sts, ch-1, turn.
ROW 4: Wh sc next st, Gr sc next 2 sts, Red sc next 3 sts, Gr sc next 2 sts, fasten off GR, Wh sc last st, ch-1, turn.
ROW 5: Wh sc next 3 sts, Red sc next st, join Gold, sc next st, Red sc next st, fasten off Red, Wh sc last 3 sts, ch-1, turn.
ROW 6: Wh sc next 3 sts, Gold sc next 3 sts, Wh sc last 3 sts, ch-1, turn.
ROW 7: Wh sc next 4 sts, Gold sc next st, fasten off Gold, Wh sc last 4 sts, ch-1, turn.
ROW 8: Sc ea st across, ch-1, turn.
RND 9: Evenly sc ea st and row around working 2 sc in ea corner, sl st top beg sc, fasten off.
THREE FLOWER PATCH:
ROW 1: With Wh and O hook ch-16, sc 2 nd ch from hook, sc ea ch across, ch-1, turn. (15 sts)
ROW 2: Wh sc next 4 sts, join Gold, sc next st, Wh sc next 5 sts, Gold sc next st, Wh sc last 4 sts, ch-1, turn.
ROW 3: Wh sc next 3 sts, Gold sc next 3 sts, Wh sc next 3 sts, Gold sc next 3 sts, Wh sc last 3 sts, ch-1, turn.
