RND 1: Ch-1, work 6 sc in ring, sl st top beg sc, fasten off. (6 sts)
-make 21. Sew or glue dots in groupings of three alternating which side of the headband they are on. Connect dot groups with a running stitch using Sweet Pink yarn. Glue center section of finished headband to purchased headband.
BLUE HEAD BAND WITH SIDE BOW:
With Blue Bon-Bon and H hook rep rows 1-83 of Yellow headband. Glue to purchased headband.
BOW:
ROW 1: With Blue Bon-Bon and H hook ch-11, sc 2nd ch from hook, (dc next ch, sc next ch) across to last ch, dc last ch, ch-1, turn. (10 sts)
ROW 2-28: (Sc next st, dc next st) across, ch-1, turn. End row 28 fasten off.
With yarn and needle sew short ends of bow tog to form a loop. Lay loop flat with seam in the center.
CENTER OF BOW:
ROW 1: With Blue Bon-Bon and H hook ch-3, sc 2nd ch from hook, dc last ch, ch-1, turn. (2 sts)
ROW 2-8: Sc next st, dc last st, ch-1, turn. End row 8 fasten off.
With needle and yarn sew the center around the bow making sure to cover the seam and gathering the bow so that the ends of the center meet.
Sew bow to one side of the headband.
LILAC FRINGE HEADBAND:
With Lovely Lilac and size H crochet hook rep row 1-45 of Yellow headband. Fasten off end row 45. Glue to purchased headband.
FRINGE:
ROW 1: With Lovely Lilac and H hook ch-8, sc 2nd ch from hook, sc ea ch across, ch-1, turn. (7 sts)
ROW 2: (1st fringe) sc next st, leave remaining sts unworked, ch-1, turn. (1 st)
ROW 2-69: Sc only st, ch-1, turn. End row 69 fasten off.
NEXT FRINGE:
ROW 1: With Lovely Lilac and H hook join next free st row 1 of fringe, ch-1, sc same st as beg ch-1, leave remaining sts unworked, ch-1, turn. (1 st)
ROW 2-68: Sc only st, ch-1, turn. End row 68 fasten off.
Rep next fringe until you have seven fringes (one for ea st in row 1 of fringe). Make 2. Sew or glue one complete fringe around bottom ea side of covered headband.
FLOWERS:
With White yarn and H hook and leaving a long tail ch-3, (dc, ch-2, sl st same ch, ch-2) 3 times in 3rd ch from hook, dc same ch, ch-2, sl st same ch, fasten off. Pull ends tog tightly and knot. Trim ends.
-Make 3. Sew or glue flowers to finished headband. If you like, glue a rhinestone in the center of ea flower.
