Patterns Written in US Terms
MATERIALS:
White, Blue and Pink pearled Czech glass beads, Large Pink heart beads, Pink crochet thread, size 9 steel hook, beading needle, small amount of Velcro, either needle and thread or glue to attach Velcro.
TOP MOTIF:
String 210 white beads, 100 blue beads, 42 pink beads and one heart bead, remove needle, with hook ch-4, sl st to form a ring.
RND 1: Ch-1, !0 sc in ring, sl st top beg sc, slide large heart bead to center front of ring just made, laying it flat, sl st in nearest st to end of bead, turn. (10 sts)
RND 2: Ch-1, 2 dc ea st around, sl st top beg dc, turn.  (20 sts)
RND 3: Ch-1, sc next st, * slide 6 pink beads down, sc next 3 sts * rep bet ** 6 times, slide 6 beads down, sc last st, sl st top beg sc, turn.
RND 4: Ch-1, (sc next st, 2 sc next st) around, sl st top beg sc, turn.  (30 sts)
RND 5: Ch-1, * sc next 3 sts, slide down 10 blue beads * around, sl st top beg sc, turn.
RND 6: Rep row 4.  (45 sts)
RND 7: Ch-1, * sc next 3 sts, slide down 14 white beads * around, sl st top beg sc, fasten off.
BACK FASTENER:
ROW 1: With White and size 9 hook ch-10, sc 2nd st from ch, sc ea ch across, ch-1, turn.  (9 sts)
ROW 2-4: Sc ea st across, ch-1, turn.  End of row 4 fasten off.
PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER:
To determine the length of your bracelet, measure around you wrist.
 With needle and crochet thread string enough beads to get your wrist measurement.  Sk 1 st on back and knot thread around next st.  Add a couple of inches to your string and cut there.  Using your crochet hook, insert behind a st in the top motif in last rnd completed, yo, pull through thread until beads are touching the back of the top motif, knot off.  Rep this 3 more times in this bead sequence: One strand half hearts and half pink beads.  One strand half blue beads and half blue and white beads.  One strand half pink and blue beads and half white beads.  Last strand is half pink and white beads and half heart beads.  Apply Velcro.
