Size 10 crochet thread in White and Cardinal, Size 7 crochet hook or hook to obtain gauge, Stuffing, Four small snaps , Needle to take crochet thread
Gauge: 4 sts (sc, dc) = 1”, 7 rows pattern = 1”
Finished Size: Dress will fit 18” American Girl doll or look alike doll.
Dress:
ROW 1: With White thread and 7 hook ch-95, sc 2nd ch from hook, (dc next ch, sc next ch) across to last ch, dc last ch, ch-1, turn.  (94 sts)
ROW 2-12: (Sc next st, dc next st) across, ch-1, turn.
ROW 13: * (sc next st, dc next st) 11 times, (sc, dc) next 2 sts, * rep bet ** 3 times, rep bet () 11 times, ch-1, turn.  (100 sts)
ROW 14-19:  (Sc next st, dc next st) across, ch-1, turn.
ROW 20: * (sc next st, dc next st) 9 times, (sc, dc) next 2 sts, * rep bet ** 4 times, rep bet () 10 times, ch-1, turn.  (108 sts)
ROW 21-26: (Sc next st, dc next st) across, ch-1, turn.
RND 27: Overlap last 2 sts of row 26 with 1st 2 sts, through both thickness’ sc 1st st, dc 2nd st, (sc next dc, dc next sc) around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn.  (106 sts)
RND 28: (sc next dc, dc next sc) 3 times, * (sc, dc) next 2 sts, rep bet () 4 times, * rep bet ** around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn.  (126 sts)
RND 29-42: (Sc next dc, dc next sc) around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn.  End rnd 42 fasten off.
