Patterns Written in US Terms

Materials: 2-3 oz worsted weight yarn in Cafe, size H crochet hook and 91 pop tabs.
Gauge: 5 hdc sts = 1-1]\2”, 6 rows hdc = 2”
Finished Size: 6” tall
Special Stitches:
PTH = Pop Tab Half Double Crochet.  Work as you would for a normal hdc, yo, inset hook into st, slide a pop tab right side toward you onto your hook, yo and pull through all loops to complete stitch.
DPTH = Double Pop Tab Half Double Crochet. Work as you would for a normal hdc, yo, inset hook into st, slide the second opening in the pop tab worked in a previous row, then side a pop tab right side toward you onto your hook, yo and pull through all loops to complete stitch.
FINPTH = Finish Pop Tab Half Double Crochet. Work as you would for a normal hdc, yo, inset hook into st, slide the second opening in the pop tab worked in a previous row,  yo and pull through all loops to complete stitch and finish attaching the pop tabs.

With Green and H hook ch-3, sl st to form a ring.
RND 1: Ch-1, work 12 hdc in ring, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.  (12 sts)
RND 2-3: (2 hdc next st, hdc next st) around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.  (18 sts)(27 sts)
RND 4: Bk Lp sc ea st around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn.
RND 5: (Hdc next st, PTH next st) around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.
RND 6: Hdc ea st around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.
RND 7: (Hdc next st, DPTH next st) around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.
RND 8-17: Rep rnd 6-7.
RND 18: (Hdc next st, FINPTH next st) around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.
RND 19: Sc ea st around, sl st top beg sc, fasten off.
Draw-String:
With Café and H hook ch-60, fasten off.
Weave this chain length over and under sc in rnd 19, knot ends tog.
