2-3 oz  4ply yarn in Black, Light Raspberry and Baby Pink, H hook or hook to obtain gauge, Needle to take yarn, Large size snap, Sewing needle, Sewing thread
Gauge: 4 sc = 1”, 4 rows sc = 1”
Finished Size: 12-1\2” at its widest pt (hat) X 14-1\2” tall
Lady:
ROW 1: With Black yarn and H hook ch-9, sc 2nd ch from hook, sc ea ch across, ch-1, turn.  (8 sts)
ROW 2: 2 sc next st, sc across to last st, 2 sc last st, ch-1, turn.  (10 sts)
ROW 3: Rep row 2.  At the end of row 3, join Raspberry, ch-1, turn, fasten off black.  (12 sts)
ROW 4: Rep row 2.  (14 sts)
ROW 5: Sc across to last st, 2 sc last st, ch-1, turn.  (15 sts)
ROW 6: 2 sc next st, sc across, join black, ch-1, turn, fasten off raspberry.  (16 sts)
ROW 7: Rep row 5.  (17 sts)
ROW 8: Rep row 6, but do not change yarns.  (18 sts)
ROW 9: Rep row 5.  At the end of row 9, join raspberry, ch-1, turn, fasten off black.  (19 sts)
ROW 10: Rep row 6, but do not change yarns.  (20 sts)
ROW 11: Rep row 5.  (21 sts)
ROW 12: Rep row 6 as written.  (22 sts)
ROW 13-15: Sc ea st across, ch-1, turn.  At the end of row 15, join raspberry, ch-1, turn, fasten off black.
ROW 16-18: Sc ea st across, ch-1, turn.  At the end of row 18, join black, ch-1, turn, fasten off raspberry.
ROW 19-21: Rep rows 13-15, changing yarn as established end row 21.
ROW 22-24: Rep rows 16-18, changing yarn as established end row 24.
ROW 25-27: Rep rows 13-15, changing yarn as established end row 27.
