2 skeins Caron Bliss in Blue Sky, DMC Metallic Thread in Silver (size 5), K & O (zero) hooks or hooks to obtain gauge, cardboard, large snap, needle and clear (invisible) sewing thread.
GAUGE: Caron: 5 hdc = 2”, 2 rows hdc = 1” Silver flower is 2”
FINISHED SIZE: 5” X 9”
PURSE:
ROW 1: With Blue Sky and K hook ch-27, hdc 3rd ch from hook, hdc ea ch across, ch-1, turn.  (25 sts)
ROW 2-11: Hdc ea st across, ch-1, turn.  End row 11, fasten off.
-make 2, one front and one back.
LINING:
ROW 1: With Blue Sky and K hook ch-25, hdc 3rd ch from hook, hdc ea ch across, ch-1, turn.  (23 sts)
ROW 2-10: Hdc ea st across, ch-1, turn.  End row 10, fasten off.
-make 2, one front lining and one back lining.
PURSE GUSSET:
ROW 1: With Blue Sky and K hook ch-9, hdc 3rd ch from hook, hdc ea ch across, ch-1, turn.  (7 sts)
ROW 2-38: Hdc ea st across, ch-1, turn.  End row 38, fasten off.
-make 1.
PURSE HANDLES:
RND 1: With Silver and O (zero) hook ch-65, sl st to form a ring, ch-1, work hdc in ea ch around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.  (64 sts)
RND 2: 2 hdc next 3 sts, hdc next 26, 2 hdc next 6, hdc next 26, 2 hdc last 3 sts, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.  (76 sts)
ROW 3: Sl st next 10 sts, ch-1, hdc next 19 sts, leave remaining sts unworked, ch-1, turn.  (19 sts)
