Baby Bugs
Free Crochet Pattern
MATERIALS:
Bernat Baby Coordinates yarn in any color, size F hook or hook to obtain gauge, needle to take yarn, small amount of cream color felt, Black fabric paint, chenille stems, 3\4” round magnets, stuffing, sewing needle and sewing thread.
GAUGE: 6 hdc sts = 1-1\2”, 3 rows hdc = 1”
FINISHED SIZE: Small Bug: 3” tall.  Medium Bug: 4” tall.  Tall Bug: 4-3\4” tall.
PLEASE NOTE ABOUT MAGNETS:  I’ve tried several different brands of magnets and have found that the craft magnets found in most craft stores are not strong enough for this project.  You need a magnet that can attract through two layers of crocheted material.  The best I’ve found is HM or House-Mates Hardware 3\4” disc magnets.  I’ve have found them at both Home Depot and Lowe’s in the screw\nut\bolt isle.  You need a magnet that is strong enough to make that same magnet next to it flip to the correct pole and stick together.
