Patterns Written in US Terms

MATERIALS: Size 10 crochet thread in Black, Three 27 yd skeins DMC size 5 Metallic Pearl Cotton in Gold, size 7 & 0 (zero) hooks, Five 1\4” clear acrylic round crystals, sewing needle, invisible (clear) sewing thread and craft glue.
FINISHED SIZE:  14” long
CENTERPIECE:
ROW 1: With Black and 7 hook ch-62, sc 2nd ch from hook, sc ea ch across, join Gold, fasten off Black, turn.  (61 sts)
ROW 2: (Ch-6, sk 2 sts, sl st next st) across, turn.
ROW 3-7: Ch-3, sl st 1st lp, (ch-6, sl st next lp) across, turn.
ROW 8: Evenly sc in ea end and lp around on Gold only, fasten off.
NECKLACE:
ROW 1: With Black and 7 hook join in 2nd sc on Gold edging closest to Black top strand on center piece, ch-1, sc sa st as beg ch-1, sc next st (you are working up or toward the Black top strand), work 3 sc in side Black row, ch-1, turn.  (5 sts)
ROW 2-5: Sc ea st across, ch-1, turn.
ROW 6-7: Sk 1st st, sc ea st across, ch-1, turn.  (4 sts)(3 sts)
ROW 8-60: Sc ea st across, ch-1, turn.
ROW 61: Sc ea st across, ch-10, sl st in last st, fasten off.
Rep other end of centerpiece. To row 61.  
ROW 61: Sc ea st across, ch-1, turn, sl st next st, ch-8, sl st next 2 sts, fasten off.  
BEAD:
With Gold and 0 (zero) hook ch- 3 sl st to form a ring.
RND 1: Ch-1, work 10 hdc in ring, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.  (10 sts)
RND 2-3: Hdc ea st around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.
RND 4: (Hdc dec next 2 sts) around, sl st top beg hdc, fasten off.  (5 sts) With needle and clear thread sew to end ch-8 lp of necklace.
FLOWER:
With Gold and 0 (zero) hook ch-4, sl st to form a ring.
RND 1: (Ch-4, work 2 trc in ring, ch-4, sl st in ring) 4 times, fasten off.
-make 5.  Glue to centerpiece, then glue a crystal to center ea flower.
