MATERIALS: 1 oz Red Heart Super Saver yarn in Soft White, less than 1 oz in country Blue, needle to take yarn and size J hook or hook to obtain gauge.
Gauge: 5 sc sts = 1”, 3 rows sc = 1”
Finished Size: 2” x 6”
NAPKIN RING:
Please Note: You will be carrying yarns behind your stitches as you work. Tutorial on how to add color, drop and pick up color.
Row 1: With White and J hook Ch-8, sc 2 nd ch from hook, sc ea ch across, ch-1, turn. (7 sts)
ROW 2-3: Sc ea st across, ch-1, turn.
ROW 4: Sc next 4 sts, drop White, join Blue, sc next st, drop Blue, pick up White, sc last 2 sts, ch-1, turn.
ROW 5: Sc next 2 sts, drop White, pick up Blue, sc next 2 sts, drop Blue, pick up White, sc last 3 sts, ch-1, turn.
ROW 6: Sc next 2 sts, drop White, pick up Blue, sc next 2 sts, drop Blue, pick up White, sc last 3 sts, ch-1, turn.
ROW 7: Sc next 2 sts, drop White, pick up Blue, sc next 2 sts, drop Blue, pick up White, sc last 3 sts, ch-1, turn.
ROW 8: Sc next 4 sts, drop White, pick up Blue, sc next st, fasten off blue, pick up White, sc last 2 sts, ch-1, turn.
ROW 9: Sc ea st across, ch-1, turn.
ROW 10-21: Rep row 4-9 2 more times. End row 21 fasten off.
With needle and yarn sew tog at short ends.
