MATERIALS: 1 skein each color Red Heart 4 ply yarn in White and Hot Red, size H hook or hook to obtain gauge, needle to take yarn, small amount of cardboard, 3 snaps, needle and sewing thread.
FINISHED SIZE: 4” wide and 52” long.   
 Gauge:  4 sc = 1”, 4 rows sc = 1”
SCARF:
Please note, the scarf will be in continuous crochet where you do not stop and start at a certain point to end or beg a new rnd.
RND 1: With White yarn and H hook ch-27, sl st to form a ring, ch-1, sc next 7 ch, join red, drop white, sc next 7 ch, (drop white, pick up red, sc next 7, drop red, pick up white, sc next 7) rep bet () until piece measures desired length (I stopped at 52”) sc next 6, sl st next, fasten off.
FRINGE:
 Cut one strand white and one strand red 14” long.  Fold in half.  Insert hook in st along edge, yo and pull thought folded lp.  Insert cut ends in lp and pull tight.  Rep every other st around edge.  Rep for other edges.
