Lavender Raised Stitch Heart Purse Free Crochet Pattern
MATERIALS:
Bernat Baby Softee yarn in Lavender and White, size F hook or hook to obtain gauge, size 10 Metallic Gold\White crochet thread, size 7 crochet hook or hook to obtain gauge, needle to take yarn and needle to take crochet thread.
Gauge: Bernat: 5 sc sts = 1”, 5 rows sc = 1”, 5 Fpdc\Bpdc = 1”, 3 rows Fpdc\Bpdc = 1”, 5 dc sts, = 1”, 4 rows dc = 1-1\2”. Metallic: 5 sc sts = 1\2”, ring is 1” diameter.
FINISHED SIZE: 12” across and 13” tall.
Please Note: You will be alternating two colors as you work. Due to the special Fpdc and Bpdc you will not be able to work the white yarn behind the sts as you crochet. Simply drop the white, make the raised sts, pick the white back up carefully running it behind the worked sts and continue working. When working the background you can work the pink yarn behind your sts picking up and dropping as indicated.
PURSE:
ROW 1: With white yarn and F hook ch-123, sc 2 nd ch from hook, sc ea ch across, ch-1, turn. (124 sts)
ROW 2-5: Sc ea st across, ch-1, turn.
ROW 6: Sc next 5 sts, * sc next 6, join lavender yarn, drop white, dc next st, drop lavender pick up white, sc next 14, drop white pick up lavender, dc next, drop lavender, pick up white, sc next 6, * rep bet ** 4 times, sc next 5, ch-1, turn.
ROW 7: Sc next 5 sts, * sc next 5, drop white, pick up lavender, Fpdc next 3, drop lavender, pick up white, sc next 12, drop white, pick up lavender, Fpdc next 3, drop lavender, pick up white, sc next 5, * rep bet ** 4 times, sc next 5, ch-1, turn.
ROW 8: Sc next 5 sts, * sc next 4, drop white, pick up lavender, Bpdc next 5, drop lavender, pick up white, sc next 10, drop white, pick up lavender, Bpdc 5, drop lavender, pick up white, sc next 4, * rep bet ** 4
