MATERIALS:
Size 10 crochet thread in Black, size 7 crochet hook, large eye beading needle, 2 pkgs (200 count ea) size 8mm turquoise cup sequins, 1 small snap, sewing needle and sewing thread.
GAUGE: 9 hdc = 1”, 7 rows hdc = 1”
FINISHED SIZE: will fit 12” size fashion Bratz doll
TOP:
With large eye beading needle thread about half of one pkg sequins onto Black crochet thread, remove beading needle.
ROW 1: With Black and 7 hook ch-30, hdc 3 rd ch from hook, hdc ea ch across, ch-1, turn. (28 sts)
ROW 2: (Sc next st, slide sequin, sc next st) 13 times, leave remaining sts unworked, ch-1, turn. (26 sts)
ROW 3: Hdc ea st across, ch-1, turn.
ROW 4: (Sc next st, slide sequin, sc next st) across, ch-1, turn.
ROW 5: Hdc next 2 sts, (2 hdc next, hdc next 3) across, ch-1, turn. (32 sts)
ROW 6: Rep row 4.
ROW 7: (2 hdc next st, hdc next 3 sts) across, ch-1, turn. (40 sts)
ROW 8: Rep row 4.
ROW 9: Sc ea st across, fasten off.
STRAPS:
ROW 1: With Black and 7 hook join (wrong side facing you) in 9th st end row 9 of top, ch-1, sc sa st as beg ch-1, slide sequin, sc next st, leave remaining sts unworked, ch-1, turn. (2 sts)
ROW 2: Hdc ea st across, ch-1, turn.
ROW 3: Sc next st, slide sequin, sc next st, ch-1, turn.
ROW 4-12: Rep row 2-3 and ending on row 2 rep. Fasten off end row 12.
Sk 4 sts from end row 1 of strap on top and sew end there. Rep other side.
