Snowman Shape Pillow

MATERIALS:

Worsted Weight Red Heart yarn in White (one 7 oz skein will make three pillows), H crochet hook or hook needed to obtain gauge, needle to take yarn, stuffing, small amount of Burgundy worsted yarn, black abric paint, small amount of dark brown and orange felt, several sequin snowflakes.

FINISHED SIZE: 8” X 11”

Gauge: 4 sc\dc sts = 1”, 4 rows pattern = 1”

Snowman (make 2):

ROW 1: With White yarn and H hook ch-7, sc 2nd ch from hook, dc next ch, (sc next ch, dc next ch) across, ch-1, turn. (6 sts)

ROW 2-5: (Sc, dc) next 2 sts, (sc next dc, dc next sc) across, ch-1, turn. (8 sts)(10 sts)(12 sts)(14 sts)

ROW 6-7: (Sc next dc, dc next sc) across, ch-1, turn.

ROW 8-9: Sc next st, dc dec next 2 sts, sk next st, (sc next dc, dc next sc) across, ch-1, turn. (12 sts)(10 sts)

ROW 10-13: (Sc, dc) next 2 sts, (sc next dc, dc next sc) across, ch-1, turn. (12 sts)(14 sts)(16 sts)(18 sts)

ROW 14-16: (Sc next dc, dc next sc) across, ch-1, turn.

ROW 17-18: Sc next sc, dc dec next 2 sts, sk next st, (sc next dc, dc next sc) across, ch-1, turn. (16 sts)(14 sts)

ROW 11-26: (Sc, dc) next 2 sts, (sc next dc, dc next sc) across, ch-1, turn. (16 sts)(18 sts)(20 sts)(22 sts)(24 sts)(26 sts)(28 sts)(30 sts)

ROW 27-32: (Sc next dc, dc next sc) across, ch-1, turn.

ROW 33-34: Sc next sc, dc dec next 2 sts, sk next st, (sc next dc, dc next sc) across, ch-1, turn. (28 sts)(26 sts)

ROW 35: (Sc next dc, dc next sc) across, fasten off.
