Thread Red Loop Necklace Free Crochet Pattern

MATERIALS:
Size 10 crochet thread in Red, Lion Metallic yarn in Gold, size 7 hook, necklace clasp, small amount of stuffing, sewing needle and invisible (clear) sewing thread.
FINISHED SIZE:  24” long
NECKLACE:
With Red and 7 hook ch-3, sl st to form a ring.
RND 1: Ch-1, work 10 hdc in ring, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (10 sts)
RND 2-3: Hdc ea st around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.
RND 4: (ch-6, sl st next st, ch-3, sl st next st) around, turn.
RND 5: Press lps to back of piece, hdc ea st around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.
Rep rnd 4-5 until piece measures 20” long.
Hdc one more row, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.
(Hdc dec next 2 sts) around for last row, sl st top beg hdc, fasten off.
BEAD (Make 4):
With Gold Metallic and & hook ch-4, sl st to form a ring.
RND 1: Ch-1, work 8 hdc in ring, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.  (8 sts)
RND 2: (2 hdc next st, hdc next st) around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.  (12 sts)
RND 3-4: Hdc ea st around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.
Stuff bead lightly at this point.
RND 5: (Hdc dec next 2 sts) around, sl st top beg hdc, fasten off.  (6 sts)
OVAL CLASP COVER:
RND 1: With Gold Metallic and 7 hook ch-7, hdc 3rd ch from hook, hdc next 3 ch, 3 hdc last ch, turn piece so you are now working across the bottom of the foundation row (in bottom of sts just made), hdc next 3, 2 hdc last, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.  (12 sts)
RND 2: 2 hdc next 2 sts, hdc next 3, 2 hdc next 3, hdc next 3, 2 hdc last st, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.  (18 sts)
RND 3: 2 hdc next 2 sts, hdc next 3, 2 hdc next 6, hdc next 3, 2 hdc last 4 sts, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.  (30 sts)
RND 4: Hdc ea st around, sl st top beg hdc, fasten off.
PUTTING NECKLACE TOGETHER:
With needle and thread sew two gold beads to one end of red lp necklace.  Sew one half of necklace clasp to beads.  Rep on other end sewing the two beads and then the other half of the clasp.  Sew gold oval to beads so that it covers both clasp halves when fastened.
