Materials:
3-4 oz Red Heart Super Saver yarn in Petal Pink, 700 yds size 10 crochet thread in White, size H & E crochet hooks or hooks to obtain gauge, 18’ Pink Ribbon 7/8” wide, needle to take yarn, needle to take crochet thread, 9” white or pink zipper, 36” plastic chain 1” wide, sewing needle and sewing thread.
Gauge: 4 hdc sts = 1”, 3 rows hdc = 1”
Finished Size: 9” X 11”

I used Aunt Lydia’s size 10 crochet thread, but any size 10 crochet thread will make a good substitution, just make sure you get the exact gauge as stated in the pattern when you make a sample swatch. If your gauge is bigger than stated, go down one size in your hook. If your sample gauge is smaller than stated, go up one size in your hook.
