Patterns Written In US Terms

MATERIALS:
1-1\2 Skeins Red heart 4 ply yarn in Heather Gray, 1\2 skein Cherry Red, size H crochet hook or hook to obtain gauge, needle to take yarn, craft glue, black and orange fabric paint, some amounts of felt in red, yellow, peach, and blue, size 1” wooden beads, 3 snaps, sewing needle, sewing thread, stuffing and 3 plastic Slinky Jrs(I used neon green, orange and yellow).
GAUGE: 4 hdc sts = 1”, 3 rows hdc = 1”
FINISHED SIZE: 25” tall including top Slinky.  23” tall without Slinky.
SLINKY END COVER:
With yarn and H hook ch-3, sl st to form a ring.
RND 1: Ch-1, work 12 hdc in ring, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.  (12 sts)
RND 2-3: (2 hdc next st, hdc next st) around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.  End rnd 3 fasten off.  (18 sts)(27 sts)
-make 10 Gray and 6 Red.
LEG-ARM:
RND 1: With Gray and h hook ch-19, sl st to form a ring, ch-1, hdc ea ch around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.  (18 sts)
RND 2-11: Hdc ea st around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.  End rnd 11 fasten off. -make 4.
PUTTING LEG-ARM TOGETHER:
Cut the green Slinky into 4 equal sections.  For ea of the 4 green sections, insert cut
