MATERIALS NEEDED:
White J&P Coats thread, size 7 crochet hook, needle large enough to take thread or craft glue.
WINGS (MAKE TWO):
ROW 1: With white thread and size 7 hook, ch-2, sc 2 nd ch from hook, ch-4, turn.
ROW 2: Dc, ch-1, dc same st, ch-4, turn.
ROW 3: (Dc, ch-1, dc, ch-1) 1 st ch-1 sp, (dc, ch-1, dc, ch-1, dc) next ch-1, sp, ch-4, turn.
ROW 4: Sc next ch-1 sp, ch-4, sk next ch-1 sp, sc next ch-1 sp, ch-4, sc 3 rd ch of beg ch-4 of previous row, ch-4, turn.
ROW 5: (Dc, ch-1, dc, ch-1) next ch-4 lp, (dc, ch-1, dc, ch-1, dc, ch-1) next 2 ch-4 lps, ch 3 more times, turn.
ROW 6: (Sc 3rd ch-1 sp, ch-4) 3 times, turn.
ROW 7: Rep row 5. At end of row ch 1 more times than stated.
ROW 8: Sc 4th ch-1 sp, ch-5, sc 3 rd ch of beg ch-4 of previous row, ch-4, turn.
ROW 9: Dc, ch-1, dc, ch-1 in next ch-5 lp, dc, ch-1, dc ,ch-1, dc, next ch-5 lp, ch-5, turn.
ROW 10: Sc in 5th ch-1 sp, ch-4, turn.
ROW 11: Dc, ch-1, dc, in ch-5 lp, ch-1, turn so you are now working side of piece.
RND 12: YOU ARE NOW WORKING IN RNDS. Evenly work sc around piece, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, DO NOT TURN.
RND 13: *(Hdc, 3 dc, hdc) next st, sk 2 sts, sc next st, sk 2 sts, rep from * around, sl st top beg hdc, fasten off.
Sew or glue wings to back of angel ornament.
You can leave alone or add a ribbon lp to the back for hanging.
