MATERIALS:
1 ball size 10 crochet thread in Navy, White and Victory Red, size 7 hook or hook to obtain gauge, 5 small size snaps, needle and thread and needle to take crochet thread.
GAUGE: 9 hdc sts = 1”, 6 rows bk lp hdc = 1”, 6 regular rows hdc = 1”
Please note: You will not be fastening off and joining colors, you will be dropping and picking them back up as stated.
BODICE:
ROW 1: With red thread and 7 hook ch-34, hdc 3 rd ch from hook, hdc ea st across, join white thread, drop red thread, ch-1, turn. (32 sts)
ROW 2: Working in bk lp unless other wise stated, hdc ea st across, join navy thread, drop white, ch-1, turn.
ROW 3: Hdc next 10 sts, 2 hdc next st, hdc next 12, 2 hdc next, hdc last 10, pick up red, drop navy, ch-1, turn. (34 sts)
ROW 4: Hdc next 11 sts, 2 hdc next, hdc next 12, 2 hdc next, hdc last 11, pick up white drop red, ch-1, turn. (36 sts)
