BOTTOM:
With Black and H hook ch-3, sl st to form a ring.
RND 1: Ch-1, work 12 hdc in ring, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (12 sts)
RND 2: (2 hdc next st, hdc next st) around, sl st top beg hdc, fasten off. (18 sts)
Stuff body and sew on bottom.
TAIL TOP:
You will need 20 pop tabs.
ROW 1: With Black and H hook ch-6, hdc 3 rd ch from hook, hdc ea ch across, ch-1, turn. (4 sts)
ROW 2: (Hdc, PTH) next st, hdc next 2 sts, (PTH, Hdc) last st, ch-1, turn. (6 sts)
ROW 3: 2 hdc 1st st, hdc ea st across to last st, 2 hdc last st, ch-1, turn. (8 sts)
ROW 4: Hdc 1st st, DPTH next, hdc next 4, DPTH next, hdc last st, ch-1, turn.
ROW 5: Hdc ea st across, ch-1, turn.
ROW 6-21: Rep row 4-5.
ROW 22: Hdc 1st st, FINPTH next, hdc next 4, FINPTH next, hdc last st, fasten off.
TAIL BOTTOM:
You will need 30 pop tabs.

Sew the top tail to the bottom tail. Place straight edge even with the bottom of the skunk and sew in place. Bend tail to curve it.
